As one of the foremost economies in the world despite the recession, Canada has become one of the best places that expats and other travelers go to in recent years. With the influx of immigrants, the economy continues to flourish. In order to keep up with the burgeoning economy, studying in Canada has become one way that new experts and workers easily provide the supply of warm bodies for the economic growth.

The land mass and geographic diversity of Canada has allowed it an almost unlimited supply of natural resources to fuel the continued growth and economic development. As the economy grows, the demand for expert skilled workers becomes greater and with a population that is slow to provide the experts, the government has turned to foreign workers and students to fill the need. That is why studying in Canada has become one of the worlds best locations to overcome the current financial crisis.

Each year the Canadian government welcomes around 90,000 migrants to its doors. A lot of the migrants are skilled workers and a good amount of them are from the Philippines.

Canada, is a huge country and needs to fill so many jobs that its own people do not want or are simply over-qualified for. Garbage disposal, Oil and gas workers, Truck drivers, Teachers, Care-givers, and the like are highly sought-after in Canada.

Another industry that Canada needs bolstering is the IT industry, from web-designers to programmers there is a scarcity of IT professionals. Taiwanese, Chinese, Koreans and Filipinos are now filling in these positions fast. The IT industry in Canada is fast becoming an Asian dominated sector of the work force.

POEA Jobs in Canada - are there still a lot of employers looking for Filipinos to work in Canada? You'd be surprised as to how many jobs are available in Canada especially for Filipino's as they are considered hard working, non-complaining easy-to-get along with human beings.

As for Canada, the Canadian government has always been welcoming of not only Filipinos but a host of different nationalities as well. In fact Vancouver's mayor is of Chinese descent, there are so many Asians in Vancouver that you would think you were somewhere in Asia rather than the western hemisphere.

Recently the Canadian government re-opened its doors to nursing practitioners as the Canadians realized that there are not enough health workers in the country. This could lead to another wave of second-tier health workers such as caregivers and physical therapists, not to mention Filipino doctors turning themselves into paramedics just to get better pay.
